東京都出身の現代美術家。2007年より独学で芸術活動を始め、現在ロンドン在住。美術、映画、音楽、など様々な分野に影響を受け、表現方法は多岐に及ぶ。哲学的で難解な作風は独創性に溢れ存在感があり、Rock という言葉そのもの。British Realism を彷彿させる荒々しく鋭い写真作品は国内外で定評がある。近年、イギリスやスペインにて舞台の美術デザインを担当するなど枠にとらわれない活動を続けている。

Madoka Kamiyama is a Japanese contemporary artist. Based in London.She was born in Tokyo, Japan. Her style inspired by a lot of artists such as Francis Bacon and Stanley Kubrick, David Bowie. Also, she has a talented in the arts such as fine art, theatre design and photography, etc., and people often are impressed by her creativity based on her unique ideas. Her art works are avant-garde and evocative, enigmatic figurative expression.
